YMMV / Star Wars: The Arcade Game

• No Problem with Licensed Games: Features superb vector graphics for its day, and its a very fun rail shooter on top of that.
• Porting Disaster: The Atari 5200 port has pretty good graphics, but the gameplay is completely ruined by downright horrible hit detection, making the game borderline unplayable.
  • The Atari XEGS port isn't up to snuff gameplay wise either. The controls are lousy and the cursor is given such limited range, that it's practically impossible to hit certain targets!
  • The Colecovision port isn't bad presentation wise (the graphics are almost as good as the original arcade game), but the controls are very slippery compared to the original, making it hard to aim with precision (which, in a fast paced rail shooter, is not a good thing).
