  • The Scrappy: The Coruscant Underworld Police is probably the only unit in the game widely considered to be genuinely useless. It's a relic of the early days of the game, where every unit the AI controlled could be unlocked by the player, and given that it was meant to be a weak unit for the player to face, the unit is incredibly weak when player-controlled as well; its abilities are barebones, it gains no benefits from any teams whatsoever, and doesn't even provide status effects like other Mook characters do. Notably, the Underworld Police is also one of the few characters who is not required for a Journey Guide in any capacity (even similarly underused characters like Darth Malgus require their ship), meaning there is genuinely no reason to unlock or level up this character.
  • That One Level:
    • Fleet Battles node 5-E is notoriously, ridiculously Nintendo Hard. It's Tarkin in the Executrix combined with an army of TIE Fighters, and the resulting battle is just all of the Fighters attacking in a row, Tarkin getting to take turns about twice as often as any other unit, and eventually activating his final attack and destroying the player's battlefield in about three turns. It's unanimously agreed by the player base that the only chance to win is to max out the Hound's Tooth (which can taunt on its first turn and gains Protection whenever it takes damage), and both it and its pilot Bossk can only be farmed from one Hard Mode node each that only provide 1-2 shards a day if you're lucky, so if you haven't upgraded it by the time you get there, you'll be stuck on it for months if not a year (though on the plus side, the same node as the HT also farms Jango Fett, who is great for Chewbacca's Journey Guide).
    • The final mission of Contact Protocol, C-3PO's Journey Guide, is also ridiculously hard. The player is locked into using Ewoks, whose specialty is Death by a Thousand Cuts - they have low offense, but solid defense and speed. They're put up against a team of Rebels that is not only guaranteed to go first thanks to Han's unique ability, but they give each other huge speed bonuses with every turn they take and have an insanely high offense, meaning that even if your Ewoks are all seven-star, gear tier XII, and modded to high heaven, the opening barrage can wipe out half or all of your team. Getting to even take a turn, much less winning the mission, relies on the computer's RNG spreading the damage instead of focusing fire on individual units. Notably, it's generally agreed by people who beat the mission that if Chewbacca gets stealth, Paploo is stunned or dies on turn one, or the Ewok Elder dies at any point (all of which can happen before you take a turn), you might as well start over.
