• Funny Moments: It's pretty much a crowning episode of funny (probably the closest the series ever got to just being a straight-up comedy), but Worf's immortal line may be one of the best in the series. The moment he smashes Geordi's lute and apologizes, with Gates McFadden trying not to bust up laughing in the background, was also a stroke of genius.
  Worf: Sir, I protest. I am not a merry man!
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Picard, a Frenchman, being forced to play the role of Robin Hood brings to mind Monsieur Hood in Shrek.
  • Patrick Stewart would also go on to play King Richard.
• Memetic Mutation: Worf is NOT A MERRY MAN!
