• Fridge Brilliance:
  • The Elrics are not only protected due to them passing as Amestrian, but the fact that neither Trisha nor Hohenheim probably have official documentation.
  • The status of a batsheva and her children remains sacred due to the fact it's really difficult for women to have seven daughters, having them survive to adulthood and have the youngest have seven daughters. Since Trisha is the first batsheva in centuries, its pretty rare.
• Fridge Horror: Even though it was unintentional, Hohenheim left his wife and children while their people were being exterminated. Which became canon in the sequel.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Knowing what happens to Trisha can make the parts of her as a happy young bride a bit painful.
• The Woobie: Poor poor Trisha, her family and people dies all around her with nothing for her do about it. Her husband is nowhere to be found and dies knowing that she's leaving her sons orphans in a world that wants them dead.
