- Alternate Character Interpretation:
- "Lamp Head". Is it Siren Head in a different form? A different species? A relative? Word of God remains intentionally vague about it.
- Cartoon Dog. Is it just Cartoon Cat with another form or a separate entity? The fact that other cartoon monsters are confirmed to exist and that Trevor wrote "Cartoon Dog(?)" in an official list of his creatures doesn't help making things clearer.
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- Siren Head is easily the most popular of the creatures in the blog, due to his surreal design and creepy concept, eventually starring in several games about him.
- Long Horse is also well-liked, thanks to his simple yet interesting design (a horse's skull on an infinitely long neck that bends in multiple angles) and for being one of the few Benevolent Monsters in the blog.
- Cartoon Cat is a close second in popularity. This is thanks to his unusual design that helps him to stand out next to the the rest of monsters, coped with the fact he's considered The Dreaded among them, has an enigmatic personality and is confirmed by Word of God to be the most dangerous creature in Henderson's universe.
- The Country Road Creature is another highly popular creature, thanks to their unnerving and unique design, absolutely iconic image, and the implied ability to shapeshift.
- Fandom-Enraging Misconception: No, Siren Head is not an SCP. Saying that Siren Head is one will get quite a few people frustrated. The same thing can be said for Long Horse as well.
- There actually is an SCP called "Sirenhead", but it's not the one people are familiar with (which, of course, is the point).
- Funny Moments: One of the images Henderson posted to his instagram is a rendering of Cartoon Cat with the realism of his features flipped; Instead of a distressingly realistic body and large cartoonish eyes and teeth, he instead has a typical stout cartoony body with distressingly realistic eyes and a mouth completely lost in the inky blackness of his skin. While just as freaky, it makes him look anxious rather than malicious, as if he's having a very bad trip.
- One of Henderson's followers on his (sadly taken down) Tumblr had a question about this picture:
Anonymous: If the mouth is the bottom of the slide, would you go down through the asshole???
Henderson: hell yeah - Memetic Mutation:
- Referring to "Big Charlie" as some facsimile of his name, like "Enormous Charles".
- People like to make compilations of Trevor Henderson's art while playing (un)fitting music in the background, usually songs by Jack Stauber. A good example is this video with the Monsters, Inc. theme.
- A Tik Tok video of a enormous Siren Head has been circulating the internet as of early 2020, with most of the memes of it either replacing Siren Head with another character, or replacing the noise coming out of the sirens into something else.
- On Trevor's social accounts like on Twitter, expect someone to comment on cooking or eating Lil' Nugget whenever he's mentioned. Expect a little later for Trevor to call them out on it.
- Moment of Awesome: The phrasing of this post implies that the person whose POV the quote is from either took a photo of the creature and survived, or actually managed to capture it.I got him. It’s not too late, and I finally got him and now you finally have to fucking believe me.
- Another moment of awesome in Henderson's world of killer monsters: when faced with this thing, the group in this post resignedly prepare to charge at it in their car.
- Nightmare Retardant: As popular as he might be, there's no getting around the fact that, on paper, "a really tall dude with a radio siren for a head" sounds more like a parody of creepypasta monsters than a straight example, so for some people that's exactly what Siren Head comes across as.
- Older Than They Think: Not only are the noises associated with Siren Head taken from sirens in real life, but the most famous one was used in this video from 2015, which revolves around another, older and more famous giant monster.
- Paranoia Fuel: Siren Head likes to hide out in plain sight and mimic people's voices to lure his prey to him.
- Siren Head aside, there are monsters and other unnatural things everywhere. Accounts of encounters range from forbidden areas like basements and forests to peoples' bedrooms, or even outside their windows.
- The Man with the Upside Down Face is another monster that can be this, as he is not only hardly seen without the use of cameras or similar devices, but also because he can appear anywhere at any time and nobody knows until it's too late and he causes a tragedy to occur.
- Spiritual Successor: Some people see Siren Head as this to Slender Man: a tall, thin Humanoid Abomination who stalks and kills people in the woods. They even both have something unusual about their heads. Naturally, this has led to fan-made content portraying them as enemies.
- Ugly Cute: A lot of Trevor's monsters qualify, but Lil' Nugget (one of Big Charlie's offspring, apparently) takes the cake.
