• Friendly Fandoms: With several other bands, but most notably Pierce the Veil, particularly since Kellin Quinn was featured on what's considered as one of their biggest songs, "King for a Day".
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Gossip is their culmination of moving away from their post-hardcore roots, being pure pop. This has alienated a lot of their original listeners, which is possibly why their following album, How It Feels to Be Lost, sounds more like their earlier output.
