- Angst? What Angst?: Rishe has died six times, and each time it's been violently. She is shown to remember each of these deaths. And she shows absolutely no trauma at all from it, remaining a perky and cheerful individual who sees the good in pretty much everyone, even those who are threatening her. The fact that she's been caught in a "Groundhog Day" Loop for the last 30 years (from her perspective) doesn't bother her at all (at least, not anymore).
- Moment of Awesome: Rishe and Arnold's dancing in Episode 3. The two are perfectly in tune with each other despite only having just met and wow the entire crowd.
- Bonus points for the episode title referencing said dance: "A Thinly Veiled Sword Dance (Rondo)". More explicit in the light novel or manga than in the anime, perhaps, but Rishe approaches the dance like it's a sword fight she's trying to beat him in, constantly trying to take the lead role rather than the follower role and attempt to surprise Arnold with an unexpected dance move. Arnold, meanwhile, manages to react to each surprise as if it were a preplanned routine, and then surprises Rishe with a dip at the end, catching her just in time in a way to make it look elegant and on purpose. And he smirks about it.
