  • Funny Moments: Surreal Humor is the main theme of the channel, so it's only natural.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: American Boot suddenly suffering a heart attack in "Bizarre Afternoon" can be a bit tough to watch in light of Rick May's death to COVID in 2020.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • Engineer accepting Soldier's apology and forgiving him for his rather selfish behavior at the end of "Soldier's Magnificent Adventure".
    • In "RED Team goes to Japan", Spy comforting Scout after his "dad"'s message turned out to be a trap. Even better, if you remember that he's canonically Scout's dad.
    • In the Stinger of this video, Joker Scout giving some Bonk to Ninja Scout after seeing how sad the latter was about his defeat.
    • Soldier meeting with his dad in "RED Team's Euro Tour - Part 2".
    • American Boot befriending Joker Scout at the end of "Monday's Troubles".
  • Memetic Mutation: "Son, always remember: dying is gay"note
  • Moment of Awesome: This channel is full of this. It deserves his own page.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Despite the lighthearted nature of this channel, it has this sometimes.
    • Master Cake is a good example of this:
      • Unlike other antagonists such as Mr. Baguette, Death Machine, Mecha Medic or Joker Scout, Master Cake has no comedic moment whatsoever. When he appears, the music usually feels more darker, and his appearance is also intimidating, being a hollow body with a suit.
      • The first fight between American Boot and Master Cake in "Catastrophically Unusual Troubles" shows the latter's abilities, including summoning older foes from other parts. At one point, he even destroys the device that American Boot took from his future self, and even finishes the former with Death Machine (marking the first time that the protagonist loses in a RPG battle). Had it not been for Archimedes reviving American Boot at the last minute and him finishing the job, Master Cake would have secured a near-effortless victory.
      • But wait, it's not over yet. "Infinite Unusual Troubles" starts with Master Cake, freeing and healing the future's American Boot, only for then taking control of his body. After two failed attempts of controlled!American Boot to take both Mr. Baguette and Time-Bending Scout, Master Cake orders him to find an Engineer. Then the scene switch to an Engineer that is fixing a dispenser, only for the controlled Soldier to come and take his soul. If it wasn't jarring enough to hear the Engineer screaming in pain, then this line will.
Controlled Future!American Boot: "Sorry, but I need your soul, toymaker!"
      • To make matters worse, both Master Cake and the controlled American Boot from the future turns American Boot's friends into stone, and even attempts to do the same with the present's American Boot and Baguette Master. Even when Mr. Baguette creates a shield to defend the two members of the RED team, Master Cake decides to teleport them in a different timeline.
  • Tear Jerker: Scout is disappointed in "RED Team goes to Japan" that his "dad"'s message was a trap.
    • Mr. Baguette's death at the beginning of "Endless Unusual Troubles" is something that hits hard, especially if considering that he was an antagonist, before Master Cake took the lead. After creating a shield to assist American Boot and Baguette Master, and being teleported along them in a different timeline, Mr. Baguette gives his mask to the latter, before being reduced to dust.
