  • Once again, the Ice Dancers managing to come in first place despite their cheating annoyed quite a few people. What made this even worse was the fact that they weren't penalized for failing to do the emu race section properly. ^note The contestants had to catch their emus horseback, yet Jacques didn't catch his this way. Thankfully, this is the last time they came in first.
  • Best Friends being forcibly removed from the competition in a non-elimination round after Devin is accidently pushed off a cliff by the Sisters' emu definitely counts. It really seems to happen for no reason other than the speculated belief that the Surfer Dudes were brought back into the competition as a result of Executive Meddling to have an even amount of males and females in the finale. The reveal that the Sisters were originally going to be the ones eliminated just makes the abrupt nature of Carrie & Devin's elimination that much more apparent and obvious.
