- Bile Fascination: The main reason why many users play terrible games that have sets is to see if they can beat/master them. Occasionally, there are some users that enjoy (ironically or otherwise) said games.
- Low-Level Run: A few achievements are earned with this method, usually in RPG games.
- Nintendo Hard: If a game has a Retro Ratio at least 3-4 times its point total, it or its achievements are probably this.
- Self-Imposed Challenge: The Website. Particularly concerning achievements covered under Brutal Bonus Level.
- That One Achievement: Too many to list here. Some sets are even comprised of nothing but these.
