YMMV / Predator: Concrete Jungle

• Complete Monster: Isabella Borgia, later known as the supercomputer and heart of Neonopolis MOTHER, is the matriarch of the Borgia family and the root of all of Neonopolis's corruption and misery. Once the trophy wife of a notorious gangster, Isabella became so much more upon being doused in the blood of a Predator, using her newfound health and power to build the city of Neonopolis over the ashes of New Way City and hooking her own mind up to a supercomputer. Isabella secretly masterminds drug trade, widespread rape, murder, and human trafficking, and the black market arms trade to create a hellish environment suitable for the Yautja to hunt in, letting them slaughter civilians before capturing them and subjecting them to horrific experimentation, whilst also using their blood to rejuvenate herself. Isabella's ultimate goal is to use the genetic material of the Predators to create an entire army, which she plans to use in the bloody conquest first of Earth, and then of other worlds.
• Draco in Leather Pants: Lucretia may be a hot-tempered Bad Boss, underworld leader, and Corrupt Corporate Executive, but her revealing attire, sense of exasperation about the events of the game, and A Lighter Shade of Black moments in disagreeing with some of the worst actions of her father and grandmother cause many fans to view her quite sympathetically.
• Magnificent Bastard: "Scarface" was exiled from his Yautja clan for failing to honorably kill himself after a mission gone wrong, but spends the entirety of the game earning his stripes back while proving his honor and skill. Tearing apart the gangs of Neonopolis with strategic strikes and even by turning them against each other, Scarface follows all the traces of information they have to locate the source of local Predator deaths in the form of the Borgia family. Scarface escapes several traps set for him by the Borgias, manipulates Lucretia's personal guard into helping him when she's killed, and butchers the villainous Isabella and Hunter Borgia, standing triumphantly over their corpses while proclaiming an Ironic Echo of something Bruno Borgia once said: "I'm the boss of this city!"
• Memetic Badass: SCARFACE. His On-Screen kill-count is, at the minimum for all trophies and unlockables, around 100. Add in the several criminal gangs, police forces and the small army and he's killed his way through at least 600 people. He's got quite possibly the highest kill count of any Predator in the entire franchise.
• Narm:
  • The inciting incident of the entire story and the reason Scarface "failed his hunt" was because the building blew up around him and he took a mean fall. Not only does this somehow warrant a Disproportionate Retribution of nuking the entire city with his ship even if it fails to kill him, but the actual fall is so poorly animated that hitting some boxes makes him look like a dropped action figure rather than a Yautja Predator, on top of how pathetic it makes him come off as.
  • Usually Predators tear their way through standard humans, or military soldiers. Scarface gets to fight an Alternate Timeline of Memphis Beach where his nuke caused it to be rebuilt as "Neonopolis", staffed by criminal gangs all over that involve cyborg Russians, stereotypical Asian assassins, and "ex-pornstar hooker" bodyguards that are secretly wearing super combat suit tech and just pretending to be hookers for some reason. To say it's an escalation into being incredibly over-the-top would be an understatement.
  • The Reveal that Isabella has developed an infatuation with Scarface may just make the player laugh their ass off more than anything else.
• Narm Charm: Though the scene detailed under Narm arguably gets rescued when Scarface responds to her We Can Rule Together by skewering the scheming bitch with his combistick and killing her.
  • The plot in general is incredibly corny and reads like an amateur fanfic, but the game is nonetheless quite enjoyable. Something really amusing given the plot was written by none other than Grant Morrison themselves.
