• Iron Woobie:
  • Carla was stuck in an Arranged Marriage with her childhood bully and she had to give up her dream of becoming a teacher due to Carnivine telling her to Stay in the Kitchen. She eventually loses her adopted daughter Camellia. However she escapes her abusive husband after gaining enough courage.
  • Camellia is abused by her adoptive father Carnivine who refuses to let her become a doctor due to wanting her to earn money and do all the work. But she also manages to leave her father and pursue her dream.
• Jerkass Woobie: Mewtwo. He may be a hateful Psychopathic Manchild who is hellbent on throwing the planet into the sun, but he was abandoned as a baby, he struggled with poverty, he was bullied relentlessly by Tyrogue and Chimchar, his teachers never did anything about it, and his only friend Poipole was killed right in front of him.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Tyrogue and Chimchar cross it with what they did to Poipole. Tyrogue beats her to an inch of her life and throws her onto thin ice, which she falls into and she drowns. While Chimchar doesn't lay a finger on her himself, he forces Mewtwo to watch and does take enjoyment out of witnessing Tyrogue kill her. And just to rub salt in the wound, Tyrogue destroys the card Mewtwo made for Poipole.
  • Serperior crosses it when she kills Mimikyu's parents and attempts to murder him twice.
• The Woobie:
  • Flareon is shy and is bullied by the Third Degree Three. They don't see him as a real Fire Type due to his timidity. Thankfully he befriends Mewtwo.
  • Pincurchin from "Growing Apart". She's a homeless orphan who is poor. She's also very sick from too much electricity buildup. Camellia feels bad for her.
    • Again in "Growing Apart", Cassie, Carnivine's mom. She feels like a failure as a mother and drowns her sorrows in drinking.
  • Mimikyu in "A New Fiend", who is alone with no friends other than two stuffed Pikachu toys, that is until he meets the Mon 4 and Mewtwo. He becomes more pitiable when he is revealed Serperior killed his parents and on his fifth birthday.
