YMMV / Five Nights at Freddy's: Pizza Party

Go To

  • Game-Breaker: The first role the player gets leveling up is the Security Guard, which gives a taser that can be used to stun the animatronics, having infinite usages but having a long reload timer before it can be used again. It's basically a free and infinite version of a Fazer blaster.
  • Good Bad Bugs: Dying players in Chapter 2 can revive each other even when downed. This can help if two or more players were hit very close to each other and no one is able to revive them.
    • You can still be jumpscared by the animatronics while they are stunned.
  • Difficulty Levels: The titled Hard mode is this. The main differences are the removal of the outlines to help you out with the animatronics, and trying to hide inside vents and lockers for too long will trigger Golden Freddy Hallucinations, even when it's not 5 AM.
  • That One Level:
    • For Chapter 1 is 5 AM, as Golden Freddy will now roam on the Pizzeria, causing hallucinations when looked at and killing whoever is not fast enough to react.
    • For Chapter 2 is 3 AM, as you have to collect various blocks and then rotate them around to build the map of the Pizzaplex. If you never played the chapter before, this can be very confusing and time inducing.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The game was initially locked into a first-person view, being only able to move the mouse pressing the F button. Following the release of the second chapter, this feature was entirely removed, and it is now possible to look around and play the game in third person. This change has angered many fans, as it makes the game much easier and allows the players to hit the animatronics with the Fazer blaster or Taser much easier.
    • The game initally had a lobby where you could walk around and interact with other players. Following the release of Chapter 2, the lobby has been completely replaced by a screen having all the stuff avaible, such as the lobbies, gamepasses, roles, perks, and many more.
  • What Could Have Been: The team behind the game was initially part of Gamefam, however they detatched from them likely due to the multiple controversies regarding the company.
