• Ho Yay: Quite a bit between Patsy and Marie, from the two of them sleeping together in Patsy's bed, Patsy's extreme interest in knowing if Francesca is single, and their repeated (platonic) professions of love which can seem... less than platonic.
  Patsy: I don't think I've ever met anyone who's gay. I mean, I've seen them on television and in movies.
  Francesca: [pauses, looks right at Patsy] I'm sure you have, Patsy.
• Narm: The scene where Marie asks why no one likes her and Patsy reluctantly admits that she smells due to being too poor to afford enough water to bathe regularly is made far more ridiculous in the movie, where Marie is for some reason holding a live chicken throughout the entire scene.
