• Fridge Brilliance: Why does staring outside help reduce your stress? Not only does a nice calm night help refresh you, but it also helps assert that Stone is outside, as a static statue rather than inside holding his sign up to the cameras. Except for when the hallucinations kick in...
• Harsher in Hindsight: The backstory deals with Fritz Glade (brother of the Purple Guy) accidentally murdering his own daughter with an axe. Come Sister Location, and we learn that Purple Guy himself accidentally (indirectly) murdered his own daughter.
  • Heck, there's so many coincidences that Kane even made a list of the similarities between the two games.
• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Fritz's story about Blake playing "Simon Says" with a child. It really tells you how friendly the animatronics are during the day.
  • A secret in Popgoes Arcade has you face off against a corrupt version of the Bonnie boss fight. If you avoid attacking, Bonnie gradually reveals themselves to be Bonnie Glade, the daughter of Fritz who found herself trapped in the games code. As she calms down, she is gradually freed from her prison, thanking the player for their company and apologizing for giving them a scare.
  • Some of Gem Stone's messages qualify:
  Gem Stone: I think. I care.
  Gem Stone: Stay calm for me.
  Gem Stone: You can fix this.
• Magnificent Bastard: Simon is a intelligent robot made by Jeremy "Fritz" Fitzgerald to revive his brother, only to be locked away by fear, causing Simon to hatch an escape plan to take revenge and gain freedom. Practicing his skills by setting up puzzles for the robotic night guard Strings, he tricks Fritz into connecting him to the mainframe by promising to bring back his daughter that Fritz accidentally killed, using it to rebuild The Blackrabbit, killing him and freeing Simon. He then makes his escape, but not before thanking Strings for his help, shutting down the guard in the process.
• Paranoia Fuel: The animatronics are always watching you, from behind at first, which even Fritz agrees must be a little nerve-wracking. Granted, they can't do any harm to you from there...but the Blackrabbit can.
