- Broken Base: Which form of prank video is better? Basic call videos with just the subtitles, or the animated videos? You'll see fans in either one asking to see more of the other video, with this being such a base-breaking topic.
- Catharsis Factor: Whenever Russell targets someone who badly mistreats others (Ranging from people who mistreat workers, homophobes, racists, ect.), things can swiftly become this when he makes the target a laughing stock for how they treated others.
- Crosses the Line Twice: Naturally, with the concept of prank calling, the comedy can quickly reach this point, especially when the insults reach ridiculous levels.
- Designated Hero: As with the nature of prank calls, Russell isn't exactly always going to be doing good when making a call to annoy someone. While he does have plenty of moments when he prank calls someone for injustices they did, the majority of his pranks are mostly annoying people, sometimes on request from supporters.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Buk Lau.
- Funny Moments: Pretty much all of the calls, but this call to an Asian restaurant takes the cake.
- I Knew It!: Ownage's face reveal video shows that, as fans had been guessing for a long time, he is in fact Middle Eastern.
- Memetic Mutation: LIEK A SOM-BOO-DEE FUK U BIC!
- Mother-ugly, donn't tak to me like dat!
- Moment of Awesome: The lengths he goes to to pull off a particularly elaborate prank can be quite satisfying to see, with the Juanito Saga being one memorable example.
- Especially satisfying when he uses his talents to mess with scammers by pretending to be a helpless victim coming across other people who see through the scam so he can show the world how utterly heartless these bastards are, only to reveal he knew all along and call them out. One example is at the end of this video, where a scammer is willing to tell Billy to run away after nearly killing two people and becoming paralysed in car accidents:
- Paranoia Fuel: Invoked by Russell any time he reveals to a prank victim where the latter lives, who their relatives are, and so on.
- Squick:
- The "Gay Guy Calls Sex Worker" call was gross enough, but this line takes the corn--er, we mean cake."I was wondering if we could, y'know, pick the corn out of the feces, potentially?"note
- One of the calls to the gay hotline featured a man wanting to roleplay as a young boy visiting the doctor. Keep in mind that this is a gay sex line.
