• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Snow Globe has some fans for his personality, a grumpy, but chill guy who is kind to his friends.
  • Tiki is one for people who enjoy her backstory and species.
• Heartwarming Moments: The Big Damn Reunion Tiki has with her family, and the fact that it is hard for her to say goodbye to them. Dang.
• Nightmare Fuel: A lifeless Gamey just sitting there next to the tree Casey hides behind in "Rostrum Rampage" was basically a Jump Scare for some viewers.
• The Scrappy:
  • Kite has some hate for not having much personality aside from helping Toaster.
  • Disc is unpopular for being very bland, boring, and not doing any significant on his short stay on the show. Good thing he was cut from the reboot.
  • Soccer Ball is very loathed because of his phobia of Boxing Glove in the original series, even though he didn't do anything to him.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Boombox's redesign back in 2018, which included a green-and-silver color scheme as opposed to a black-and-purple one, lack of mouth, and arms, wasn't exactly well-received by fans.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Crayon's plot from the end of "Lost and Found" was never shown because of the show getting rebooted. The question of what Crayon would have done might intrigued some people, so really it was a shame they never got to see this plot point unfold.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Locky comes off as wangsty and obnoxious to fans instead of being silly and nice. Her treatment of Top Hat didn't help matters.
• Unpopular Popular Character: Boxing Glove is treated as a murderer people just stay away from by most of the other characters in the series, but many fans love him because they feel bad for him.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: Boombox is very easily mistaken for a girl due to his original purple accent coloring, but he's always been a dude.
• Viewer Name Confusion:
  • Regardless if they are alluding to Pumkin Land or not, some fans refer to Pumpkin as "Pumkin."
  • Disk. Yes, Disc does get misspelled as this by some, if not a lot.
  • Despite the spelling change in the 2015 series, people still like to spell Snow Globe as "Snowglobe," resulting in this.
• Viewer Species Confusion: Casey's old appearance is sometimes mistaken for a book due to resembling Book from Battle for Dream Island. She was redesigned later on and does not appear as such.
• The Woobie:
  • Boxing Glove, due to being mistaken for murder.
  • Constantly dying, being pushed around like a slave by Crayon, almost died because of Soccer Ball and Marble's rather lethal prank...yeah, you have to feel bad for Melony.
  • The ending of "Lost and Found" made Tissue this to some fans. He was a friend of Lighter, but then that zippo lighter turned his back on him and turned him into the burnt wad he is now.
