  • HIDE YOUR WALLETS ^note People hate NPC units stealing kills/money even if they're there to save the day. Tobikage happens to be one of the most infamous for this in the various Super Robot Wars games this series appears in.
    • Hilarious in Hindsight: When Anime Sols have acquired the series for their online streams and DVD release funding, this became even funnier. The meme was resurrected again when Discotek rescued the series.
  • Remove Green Hair!^note There's a stage in Super Robot Wars UX where you have to reduce a certain Vajra to a certain amount of HP to rescue Ranka Lee. If you summon Tobikage in that stage, he'll kill the Vajra in one shot.
• So Bad, It's Good: The English dub. The voice acting and line delivery are so amazingly shoddy and awkward to the point where it sounds like an Abridged Series. And it's thanks to this dub (and Discotek for uncovering it) that a lot of people even know about show.
