- Fan Nickname:
- "Villain Bomb" for using a Villain Troublemaker on a problem, especially one that has a lot of Friends there.
- Banishing cards in this game has sometimes been called "Sending to the moon".
- Game-Breaker: Has its own page.
- Junk Rare: While there are many powerful Rare and Ultra Rare cards in the game, several from both rarities are quite lackluster in function.
- "Mr. Waddle, Frequent Napper" is a Rare with 3 power for 3 cost and 1 Purple requirement, making it relatively easy to get out. However, during your opponent's score phase, he suffers -3 to his power, leaving him worthless. This is most likely meant as a way to stop your opponent from starting a problem faceoff, but since the ability isn't optional its not worth playing.
- "Ship Shape, Heavy Lifter", an Ultra Rare, has 2 power, 3 cost, and 2 Orange Requirement, so he's not that great. His effect is to exhaust himself to ignore your previous flip to get a new one. Depending on the situation, it might be best to play a card that gives an extra flip while keeping the older one.
- "Octavia, Virtuoso" is an Ultra Rare with 4 power, 5 cost, and 2 White requirement. Her effect forces the opponent to pay an extra 2 Action Tokens to move to or from her problem. Not bad, but your opponent could just use a card to move her away or not move there at all. Plus, there are free movement cards and abilities that effectively null her.
- "Spike, Baby Dragon" is a rare with a foil counterpart. Despite this, it's considered the worst card in the game. For 2 cost and 1 requirement, you get a zero power card. Want more power? Just pay 1 to give it +1 power. The problem: that power only lasts until the end of the turn. This means you're actually better off playing a 1 for 1 vanilla, since you'll get to keep its power permanently.
