• Accidental Nightmare Fuel: Let's face it, he looks, sounds and acts pretty scary. As Jack Whitehall so succinctly put it:
  Jack: How the fuck were you allowed near kids?
• Cult Classic: Much like Crazy Frog, he was popular and notorious in his heyday but nowadays only has a cult following. Unlike Crazy Frog however, he's now jokingly considered a Memetic Psychopath Eldritch Abomination who only makes the occasional appearance in places like the BBC or Children in Need.
• Memetic Psychopath: Mr Blobby is surprisingly enough, loved by the creepypasta community in the same vein as Mr Noseybonk, both being children's show characters considered to be a Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant. Unsurprisingly, Mr Blobby is portrayed as an Eldritch Abomination who causes chaos wherever he goes, drives people mad and has a cult dedicated to him (if the music video for Mr Blobby was any indication.)
• Nightmare Fuel: Mr Blobby is internationally designed to be a horrifying, Uncanny Valley parody of a Children's TV Character, and he sure manages it — an insane mascot with a constant grin and horribly distorted voice. Then he somehow ended up as a legitimate children's TV Character. A lot of British Millennials are still terrified of the thing to this day.
• The Scrappy: After he elevated beyond pranking celebs and became an actual children's show character, Mr. Blobby quickly became the most hated character in Britain, to the point that when a man assaulted the character for ruining his child's birthday party, everyone, even the children at the party, reportedly cheered for him.
