• Breather Level: The final stage, when compared to the one that came right before it, is very simple and easy. Of course, it leads to the Wham Line.
• Creepy Cute: Luna's ominous quotes make her really creepy in spite of her cutesy appearance. She discards any semblance of niceness once you beat the final level.
• Fridge Brilliance: The T-Rex wears a police lamp on his head, while Luna turns out to be not quite as bubbly and cute if you can understand what she says. Both of these facts make the ending a little less surprising.
• Fridge Horror: The illustrations after each level show the T. rex and Luna dating. In light of the game's ending, it becomes obvious that their relationship went sour and she took it upon herself to destroy his homeworld as an act of revenge.
• Nightmare Fuel: The screen before the end credits, partly thanks to how sudden it is.
• That One Level: Stage 4-10 has made many players want to throw their DSi's/3DSes. Especially not helped in that if you want to do the final stage in the game again, you'll have to beat 4-10 all over again to do so. Some who quit the game for the day to come back to the final stage later were dismayed at this fact.
• What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The game is easy to play and features cartoony graphics and a cute protagonist. Later levels are also Nintendo Hard and the ending can be nightmare-inducing.
