- Fight Scene Failure: Happens frequently. When Yuan Zheng stabs a man in episode ten the sword clearly doesn't hit the man at all, but he collapses anyway.
- Special Effects Failure: Inevitable in Chinese dramas. The special effects for supernatural creatures are especially poor.
