• Alternative Character Interpretation: When the adults give the Princess chores and fish stew, are they deliberately trying to dissuade her from being a pirate, or is it just that their idea of fun doesn't gel with what the Princess considers fun? The former would make sense but, the Gardener is one of the adults who assigns the Princess a chore, even though he wasn't pranked, hinting at the latter.
