YMMV / LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed

Go To

  • That One Achievement: The Brixpedition achievement "Nobody Left Behind" requires you to complete 70 battles with progressively tougher enemies without losing a single hero. The most optimal strategy people have found is to have one of the two (or both) of the heroes with the power to resurrect fallen party members in your party, but even this isn't ideal as they tend to be weaker on offense and eat up a party slot that could be better used by a stronger hero.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: To much fan excitement, the highly-requested Johnny Thunder was announced to appear in LEGO Legacy... as the non-playable host of the Brixpedition event, instead of one of the playable heroes. He's basically an Advertised Extra at this point.
  • Unexpected Character:
    • Scarlett the Buccaneer is a rather obscure minifigure, only appearing in an accessory pack as an odd mishmash of Pirates and Monster Fighters minifigures, instead of being a recognizable character from any mainline LEGO sets. Certainly makes a surprising choice for including as a playable hero.
    • As far as representing LEGO's history with licensed IPs, the first to join the LEGO Legacy roster is... Ghostbusters? Star Wars, being the first, longest-running, and most popular LEGO license, was naturally more commonly expected to make its debut in LEGO Legacy, while Ghostbusters is a more recent and shortlived license that caught many fans by surprise.
    • For the Christmas 2021 event, gamers were given a free Santa character.
