- Lelouch naturally has his moments.
- His Big Damn Heroes moment by saving Mimil from Lucella when she's completely helpless by striking the Baphomet with a lightning bolt, summoning lightning dog entities to paralyze her, and completely freezing her and her dark matter tendrils in ice.
- He plotted his party's escape during the first fight against Druella in Lescatie, causing the entire prison to collapse on her and her frozen servant.
- Druella also has her moment by knowing exactly where she would find Zero, while simultaneously coordinating the invasion of Lescatie via Xanatos Speed Chess.
- To summarize his awesomeness in the first arc, Lelouch becomes the first person to completely reject Druella and her faction, and not just because he's The Immune. Everyone who fought against Druella and her faction was fanatical servants of the Chief God who follow her lies that get easily melted away by both the truth of the world and the demonic energy's corruption. Lelouch not only engages in a conversation but is the first person to say what's wrong with her mother's world, quickly tearing into Druella's philosophies and ways of doing things. Even when he doesn't defeat her in combat, Lelouch wins against her mentally, sending her in a Villainous BSoD for the time being.
- And that's not even all of it. Once shared to the Mamono leadership, if the revelation of his powers wasn't enough, his whole exchange with Druella completely shocks the crowd. Complete with the relationships he already established, he also became the first person to drive a wedge within them. He may from another world, but Lelouch can be seriously credited; in a world where the Order continuously failed to make any progress against the Demon Lord, he accomplished so much in just a few years. Even the Demon Lord herself admits that Zero's existence has created a drastic change where there's no going back.

- Just about any time someone mentions how much of a Chick Magnet Lelouch has become, whether he be Zero or not.
- Pandering to the Base: A poll was conducted by fans to see which girls from Lescatie would be spared from becoming monsters.
- Similarly, people are relieved of Mimil being spared by default. Granted, this was due to the already uneasy implications of her fate in canon and the author(s)’ love for regular Magical Girl series.
