• Broken Base: Their Revolving Door Band nature sparks some pretty strong opinions over whether they lost something after, say, Fallon Bowman left, or after Jennifer Arroyo left, etc. This isn't universal, of course, and they still have their supporters even after all the lineup changes.
• First Installment Wins: The debut, Spit, will likely always remain the definitive Kittie album to the public at large. It's a big reason why there's still a sizable amount of people who think the band was never better than with original guitarist Fallon Bowman.
• Signature Song: Their first single, "Brackish," was such a staple of the Nu Metal era that it proved a Tough Act to Follow.
