  • Funny Moments:
    • Donald Trump teaming up with Tommy Wiseau to create the Americana Overdrive film trilogy. Seriously.
    • All of the scenes involving Conspiracy Joe, a recurring guest on KDWN’s Coast to Coast AM who gives increasingly outlandish conspiracy theories.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • After Elvis Presley has heart issues, a fan offers to donate her deceased sister's heart to him as per her will. The operation succeeds, and Elvis dedicates his next song to the sister, "Elaine".
    • Kelsey Grammer stepping down from the presidency early to let his Vice President and friend Harley Brown (who had lost the 2020 election) finish his term.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • ITTL, Mario Lopez plays a younger Colonel in a movie. IOTL, he actually got to play a fictionalized Colonel in the movie A Recipe for Seduction.
    • Herman Cain becoming the first African-American senator from Georgia is a case of Life Imitates Art with Raphael Warnock's victory over incumbent Kelly Loeffler in the 2021 Senate runoffs. Cain could also be seen as a political antithesis to Warnock as the former was a Republican businessman and CEO of Finger Lickin' Good Inc while the latter was a Democratic pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
  • Moment of Awesome:
    • The Colonel's refusal to allow John Y. Brown Jr. to buy McDonald's from underneath Ray Kroc without the permission of Sanders' family, who promptly fired Brown. This is followed by the Colonel transferring ownership back to Kroc on the grounds that what Brown was doing was no different than how Kroc took McDonald's from the McDonald brothers.
    • The Colonel surviving an attempted assassination at the hands of Osama bin Laden in 1980, made even more so due to his advanced age (he was pushing 90 at the time).
  • Nightmare Fuel: Kim Jong-Il’s gruesome demise at the hands of North Korean civilians in the closing days of the Second Korean War.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • The Colonel's death, which happens ten years later ITTL, is quite a sad moment. But what happens a few months before is especially tear jerking: after getting back from the hospital for leukemia treatments, the Colonel tries to chop a tree and climb a ladder to fix a hole in his roof to prove he can still do things at his advanced age, before his wife Claudia stops him and the Colonel realizes that he's close to dying.
Sanders: The darn leukemia's going to kill me. I'm on my last fillup of gas. My last KFC order. My dead-last term. I don't know if I'm ready. I don't want to leave you. I don't–
    • Vice President Larry Dinger's horrified realization that Lee Iacocca has been shot dead, making him the President.
  • Unintentional Period Piece: This story was written at a time when it was assumed SpongeBob SquarePants was renamed from SpongeBoy Ahoy! due to the name SpongeBoy being used by a mop company, instead of a pencil company. As a result, this assumption is used when Stephen Hillenburg explains how he conceived the SpongeBob name.
