• Broken Base: Her decision to leave WWE split the fanbase down the middle. One half felt she was justified in leaving, especially since her final match in WWE was a swimsuit battle royal. Others felt she should have waited a little longer - especially since Raw soon moved to three hours and some women did get more time for matches than usual. Likewise NXT soon gave women's wrestling a renewed focus, so fans are split as to whether or not Maxine would have benefited from this if she had stayed.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: One of the women from the 'Diva Era' that managed to achieve a lot of popularity both with Diva fans and a lot of smarks. Through respect for both her character and wrestling on NXT Redemption, many were hoping for her to make an impact in the women's division. When she made her return in Lucha Underground there was much rejoicing.
• Funny Moments:
  • Her magnificent response to Matt Stryker's attempts to flirt with her during the Halloween costume contest. She was dressed as the 'Ice Queen', and he told her she could "melt that outfit".
  "I can melt this outfit, but do you know what cold water does to a man, Stryker?"
  • Her being caught kissing Hornswoggle backstage during Aksana's Wedding Episode. There is a fine line between love and hate indeed. Even better when she appeared on FCW's 'The Aksana Show', and a fan question asked "how did you feel kissing little man", and pictures of Maxine being caught in the act with an Oh, Crap! face were used.
  • Maxine meeting Derrick Bateman's mother was the favourite moment of many NXT Redemption fans. Quite possibly the only woman who could intimidate her.
  • Maxine's attempts to suck up to William Regal by being nice to Tamina, asking if she could call her Tammy.
  • Her reaction to Derrick Bateman's proposal - a slap to the face...followed by The Big Damn Kiss.
  William Regal: I think I may start self-harming.
• Growing the Beard: While she had her fans for her heel character on NXT Season 3 and FCW, she hadn't gotten in the ring much to judge her wrestling, and it was assumed she would mainly play an on-screen character. However, re-debuting as Derrick Bateman's girlfriend and her subsequent Dark Action Girl persona caused many to take notice of how much she'd improved as a wrestler.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Diva Dirt pointed out the Irony of Maxine's theme song having the lyrics "if you want it come and get it, because I won't be around for long" - which turned out to be oddly prophetic of her WWE career.
• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Maxine and Derrick Bateman reconciling on NXT's 100th episode. One of the rare times Maxine ever showed a softer side.
  • Her elimination from NXT Season 3 showed her to be a Graceful Loser; politely thanking the fans, wishing the remaining contestants good luck and assuring everyone she will be back.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Maxine and Derrick Bateman's aggressive kissing after the proposal had Titus O'Neil covering AJ's eyes at ringside. This was before AJ's character on the main roster would become known for kissing several people at once.
• Love to Hate: She's many a Diva fan's favourite bad girl of her era.
• Narm: Her debut promo had a great Badass Boast...until she referred to herself as "A triple threat. A triple threat. In. A. Skirt." Well alright then.
• Narm Charm: Being found kissing Hornswoggle backstage. Predictable? Yes. But still hilarious, especially for the ashamed look on Maxine's face. And even more hilarious when she was reminded of it on The Aksana Show.
• Strawman Has a Point: She did have a legitimate right to be annoyed at Kaitlyn sniffing around her boyfriend, even if she was physically and verbally abusive.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Maxine was poorly utilised once NXT Redemption was cancelled. She left WWE because of this.
• WTH, Costuming Department?: Her ring gear for her first NXT match was torn apart by Diva Dirt writers for looking more like a figure skating outfit. They thankfully improved over time.
