- Base-Breaking Character: Not as damaging as some examples on that page, but if you read discussions of the series and you'll notice that a good portion of the fans had to fast forward through a good deal of the series because they were put off by Haruka's antics, while some others find her absolutely hilarious — and still others didn't mind her at first, but found her continued behavior to be something of an Overused Running Gag as the series went on.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment:
- It probably could rival Azumanga Daioh in this category... in only 13 episodes.
- The Aran Smithee incident in episode 2.
- Mika being blown away in episode 6.
- The entirety of episode 4.
- The manga has this pushed up to eleven in chapter 9: Haruka with lazer beams NOT. KIDDING.
- How about Kana meeting a girl who turns out to be a living "ghost"?
- The ending of episode 9, anyone?
- All the screen wipes have a little robot speed past shouting something. It's confusing, baffling, and totally out of place...unless you happen to know that's the manga author's avatar.

- The Woobie: Kana, in spades. Mika becomes this in the 8th episode.
