Yuuki is Sakaki and Yume is Kaori. After the later did grow some backbone and confessed to Yuuki/Sakaki, they started dating and Yuuki/Sakaki fell in love with Yume/Kaori, too and is now really, really possessive of her (radiates Killing Intent, see the WMG above).- I came across this picture on danbooru
, which would tie in this WMG the following way: after Sakaki did fall in love with Kaorin in return and they made their relationship public (a.k.a. coming-out), some of the students reacted in a really shitty way and started to bully her. Someday, the situation got out of hand and Tomo and this girl stuck with her head in the ceiling hit Kaorin. Sakaki saw that, went totally apeshit (look how protective Yuuki is of Yume) and went postal on them both. Kagura got in her way and get her share, too. After that incident, they changed town and even went so far as to change their names to avoid problems.
