The Reveal that Hiro was the culprit, a Villain Protagonist and was working with Hikari to get revenge for Atsuya. Not only does it get almost no Foreshadowing, but it directly contradicts almost all of Hiro's thoughts and actions.
Just the fact that Hiro in his personal thoughts gets surprised about getting abducted or angry that people get killed when he shouldn't act inside his thoughts.
Broken Base: The fact whether Judge is better than Doubt overall, to the point that it blows the latter out of the water. Some say that, improved as Judge is, it still suffers from the same problems as Doubt did.
Fridge Brilliance: While the bear mask is a confusing choice for Nobuyuki considering the bear is supposed to represent wrath in the seven deadly sins, it makes more sense when you analyse the character and the animal. In real life, bears hibernate once they get enough food to survive the winter and are known to be very protective parents. Nobuyuki's crime was that he killed his mother for criticising his indolent lifestyle, something that justified his death to the other mask wearers. Plus, it wasn't Nobuyuki's sin of sloth that killed his mother, it was his wrath about being criticised. Also, a group of bears is called a sloth.
Spiritual Successor: Likely one to Doubt. Both involve a group suddenly awakening in an unknown area, with animal headmasks on and in mortal danger.
The Woobie: The author really does enjoy putting Rina into horrible situations, first one she's nearly raped by Ryuhei, second one she's knocked unconscious and then framed for Ryuhei's death, third one she's stabbed in the leg by Miku and forced to vote for Asami and finally she's forced to hide from Hayato's father, who would have killed her. Luckily for her despite all these hardships she survives.
