• Broken Base: Max vs. Julien. Who creates better videos with Jenna? Because their style when doing a video with her is so different (Max usually acts as the Only Sane Man while Julien usually joins in with her), chances are if you like one you will dislike the other. And that's not taking into account your opinion on Max and Jenna's break-up, or how much you think their break-up should be a factor in your enjoyment of Max/Jenna videos. Jenna doesn't make it easier for people who enjoy Max, since she doesn't mention him or videos with him in recent years.
  • Nowadays, however, the fans make it pretty clear that they prefer Julien, who is still capable of being the straight man, but is similarly capable of being a whimsical character, himself, meaning he can bounce off Jenna even better. Furthermore, rumours about the break-up - that have been denied by both parties in the past - led to Max losing a lot of respect from Jenna's viewers, and a greater popularity for Julien. As of 2019, Julien is clearly the victor, as his own channel has over 2 million subscribers and the fandom expresses nothing but support for him and his relationship with Jenna.
• Fake Brit: When she doubles as Adele in Interrupting Adele. However, she is of English descent so not quite a fake Brit.
• Harsher in Hindsight: This is the reason why jokes about Marbles being dead has slowly started to become a Discredited Meme. As of 2019, Marbles has gotten old and is dealing with health issues, including having all of his teeth surgically removed in December 2018. The prospect of Marbles eventually passing away from old age has made the joke less funny and more of a Tear Jerker. It doesn't help that Jenna herself said that the dead dog jokes make her uncomfortable.
• Memetic Mutation: "Pipe the fuck down."

  • "JULIEEEN-UH!"

  • A running joke among fans is to refer to Kermit with words starting with C or K instead of his name (Cement, Ceramic, Cyan, Ketchup, Krampus, etc).
    • Peach (Porch, Papaya, Watermelon, etc) and Marbles (Maple, Marker, etc) get the same treatment.
    • Bunny is frequently referred to as a horse.
  • "Aries energy," referring to Julien's tendency to go wild.
  • Jenna and Julien constantly refer to Kermit as a "nasty boy," so naturally fans adopted that term too. It became even more popular after Jenna posted a video showing just how often Kermit is nasty.
  • This video was posted in March of 2019, where Jenna and Julien repeatedly joke about just being friends and not boyfriend/girlfriend. The fandom latched onto it and it's common to see comments joking about what close friends they are.
• Ugly Cute: As someone commented in one of the "Reading Mean Comments About my Dogs" videos, Kermit is "ugly from most angles." But despite how funny-looking and unattractive he can appear sometimes, he still has a cuteness about him.
• Viewer Species Confusion: Many first-time viewers mistake Kermit and Peach for Whippets, when they're actually the similar-looking but smaller Italian Greyhounds.
