• Heartwarming in Hindsight: In SMG4 AT E3 2017, Luke and Kevin were mostly unimpressed with the Microsoft press conference, even poking fun at certain aspects of it, especially Minecraft 4K. However, Luke said that he was very excited for Cuphead. Months later, when the game finally came out, the Bros did a full series on it, and although they struggled immensely with it, they enjoyed it!
• He Panned It, Now He Sucks!: The reaction to the Smash Ultimate reveal saw serious blowback due to being one of the only negative reactions to said reveal, their experience with mods causing them to decry nearly all of the new content (Kevin especially), dissing the Mii Fighters as something nobody wanted, and constantly calling the game a port.
• Moment of Awesome:
  • Any time Luke and Kevin meet up with other YouTubers. It's true what they say: the more, the merrier! 10 YOUTUBERS VS 1 SPEEDRUNNER is especially awesome. Luke and Kevin play a multiplayer mod of Super Mario 64 with 8 other YouTubers while the famous speedrunner SimpleFlips plays by himself, and the two teams race each other to see who can get 70 stars and beat the game first. Despite the YouTuber team acting pretty bumbling and dying several times in comparison to SimpleFlips' incredible skill, they are in the lead for quite a while. SimpleFlips wins in the end, but the YouTuber team was only 2 minutes behind, which is pretty darn impressive.
  • They later have a rematch, with their goal this time being to get all 120 stars. Team YouTuber actually wins!
  • The Bros' appearance on The Next Gamer, where they meet the Australian Air Force and play Mario Kart with them!
• Seasonal Rot: Since most of the later videos consist of Luke and Kevin reacting to meme compilations and other videos rather than playing games, Hobo Theatre is very scarce, and Hobo Amigos is abandoned entirely, most of the fanbase views Hobo Bros as this. Granted as Luke and Kevin are incredibly busy producing Meta Runner and the Mario videos and don't have time to play games most of the time.
