  • Abandon Shipping: Cam/Jiǔtóu took a nosedive in popularity after the latter was brought back to life in Episode 9, due to the fact that the resurrection process caused her to physically regress back to about 15-years-old. The age difference killed the ship's appeal for most; some of the players have also been critical of people that continue to ship Jiǔtóu with her fellow party members.
  • Base-Breaking Character: Jiǔtóu is a polarizing character, to say the least. Her treatment of Cam from the Burning King Arc onward alienated many fans, with many believing that despite him repeatedly trying his best to atone for his wrongs, Jiǔtóu simply wouldn’t let go. On the other hand, many love Jiǔtóu due to many of the campaigns most poignant emotional moments coming from arcs and scenes based around her.
  • Cargo Ship: Trellimar/Rope has emerged after Matt's reaction to having lost his Rope of Climbing and then being hell-bent on getting it back from Torwen. He's reunited with it in Episode 8 and reacts accordingly.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Barris, a fairly dim but friendly town guard from Tallfield; both the players and the fandom have taken quite a liking to him. So much so that, when Jiǔtóu was shown a vision of Barris setting out on an adventure of his own, having been inspired by the party's actions, both Kim and Mark, as well as several viewers, teared up.
  • Ho Yay: There's definitely some of this going on when Trell transforms into a beautiful young woman and tries to seduce Cam for a laugh in Episode 11. Cam catches on, but Matt's comments indicated he was going to take the gag a lot further than it ended up going, so who knows what that means.
  • The Scrappy: Downplayed, but present. Jiǔtóu’s consistently poor treatment of Cam and Reynard, hypocritical attitudes, and tendency for melodrama causes her to have the most people actively disliking her character out of the main five.
