• Alternate Character Interpretation: Does Earl really mishear what Ernest says when he wants a wall street tycoon haircut, or is he really pretending to mishear as an excuse to show off his hair styling skills (so he can give the kind of haircuts he's capable of that customers don't normally ask for)? Or is he just really wanting to show off his talents and genuinely mishears but is excited to comply with what he thinks they want?
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Ernest having a sidekick ventriloquist's dummy named Woody, given that one of Jim Varney's other well-known roles had him as the sidekick to a character named Woody, who was a ventriloquist's dummy early in development.
