  • Awesome Music: A lot of the music Grade uses for transitions is this (ex: "Frontier Psychiatrist", "Du Hast", etc).
  • Broken Base:
    • Fans of Grade are split on him getting into YouTube drama. Some appreciate the humor and feel he handles the situation with a Brutal Honesty that's hard to come by in the YouTube community. Others feel he's falling prey to the same things he's criticizing and wish he'd stay out of it.
    • The YouTubers Complaining about Drama video is one of his most polarizing. Many fans feel it's classic Grade snark that takes a bat to the growing problem of Youtube drama that grants a new perspective and criticizes other famous Youtubers for feeding into it. Many others feel it's where Grade started to slip into hypocritical ranting and generally being a dick. Then there's his comments about Markiplier and Matthew Santoro, between those that felt his statements were especially petty and hateful (laden with personal attacks rather than criticism) and those that felt it was the same biting comedy afforded to all the people he criticizes and those previous fans are calling unacceptable targets.
  • Fandom Rivalry:
    • Ended up with one with small-time Youtuber David Richter (Also known as Reactor), due to Richter pulling off a series of pranks meant to bait Grade into exposing his hypocrisy and pettiness, from creating a fake GradeAUnderA video and making it an ad on Grade's own video to editing together quotes from Grade that show contradictions in Grade's feelings regarding drama. Many people felt that Richter succeeded, while many people were quite against Richter.
    • Grade's fanbase is also at war with the fanbase for Sam O'Nella Academy's content, namely due to them producing very similar content at first, though many argue Sam O'Nella is better due to having much less schedule issues, and his lack of focus on drama and instead covering various topics like Grade did in most of his older videos, among other things.
  • Shocking Moments: Grade returning at all after an absence of over two years was surprising enough, but the fact that he had made 40 new videos shocked fans to the core.
