  • Awesome Moments:
    • In the first episode, Ranboo fighting Evil Sneeg and the Spirit and winning both battles.
      • Not to mention him outsmarting the Create-A-Creature by luring it into a cage with a mannequin disguised as him and locking the door.
    • In the third episode, upon learning his and Charlie's memories were fabricated by Showfall Media, Ranboo silently walks away with an expression of Tranquil Fury. When a Squiggles' masked employee tries to grab him, Ranboo doesn't hesitate to stab them and drops the knife on their lifeless body. He's taking back control over his life.
      • Sneegsnag (the content creator) later confirmed in a stream that the employee who Ranboo stabbed was the same one who forced a mask on Sneeg when he tried to escape. Whether he knew it or not, Ranboo avenged his friend.
    • Ranboo outrunning the many Showfall Media employees and pressing the shutdown button, mere moments before they could grab him.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The whole laser room is quite bizarre, from Vinny's death, Charlie in the rag, and Sneeg and Ranboo somehow being teleported out of there. Ranboo himself even acknowledged it.
  • Funny Moments:
    • When Squiggles appears, they provide some hilarious commentary.
    • When Ranboo is finding the keys, he briefly makes a pun while looking in a VHS tape box of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Ranboo: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde? I mean, I don't— "Hyd"ing a key? (opens the box) Nope.
    • Ranboo decides to simply leave the cabin at one point and ends up on a beach. While confused, he takes a moment to grab some sand and stick it in his pocket before going back in.
      • Even better, he uses the sand during his fight against the Spirit.
    • Ranboo's search for the keys is proven to be All for Nothing when the Spirit makes his entrance by kicking down the door.
Slimcicle: Boo, bitch! I see you found my cabin! (strikes a pose and looks at the camera)
    • After the whole cooking show, the Spirit seemingly lets Ranboo out of the cabin... but he ends up in a dimension made of slime. This conversation ensues:
Slimecicle: Yeah, baby! This is what it's all about! This is the Slime Dimension! We got slime, we got goo, we got gunk, we got sludge, we got ooze! Holy shit, we got it all, what'dya think?
Ranboo: Huh, seems like... a sticky situation.
(Beat, close up shot of the Spirit, who has a face that just screams "I'm dead inside.")
      • According to Charlie, this was Ranboo's favorite scene, so much so that he would come into the editing room just to specifically see that scene.
    • Sneeg being Instantly Proven Wrong:
Sneeg: Look at him [Frank], he stands on his own!
      (Frank immediately falls over)
      Sneeg: Sometimes.
    • "HAHAHA! I'm stuck to the bottom of the box!" Becomes funnier when you realize Charlie was actually stuck due to the glue on his suit.
    • The mere fact that it took Ranboo at least 30 tries to throw a towel onto a laser box in The Mastermind of the Warehouse. Eventually, the staff decided to use the same technique they used for Vinny's head getting caved in by the anvil to drop the towel on the box.
  • He Really Can Act: Some actors in The Social Experiments have shown their impressive capabilities in acting:
    • Many have agreed Ranboo's acting during the later half of The Social Experiments shows intense and gripping emotion, making him sound like he's on the verge of a breakdown. His screams and crying during the climactic ending of The Choice period are utterly raw and he sounds like he's genuinely scared out of his mind. As it was revealed by Ranboo's stream afterward, as he was attached to the machine, he convinced himself (for the most part) that he is really either gonna die or be a slave.
    • Niki also deserves some mention, as she's able to switch from heartbreaking sobs to mundane cheerfulness when she introduces herself at the drop of a hat. Her terrified screams when she's killed by the Puzzler are also very impressive.
    • Charlie has played three roles in the show: a Large Ham villain, an easy-going patient, and a friend of Ranboo's who slowly goes through an existential crisis in the same show. He manages to act very well in each of the roles without a hitch, especially his screams when the patient is torn open and when he's killed by Security.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • "Goo Goobie." Explanation
    • Explanation (spoilers)
  • Nightmare Fuel: Has its own page.
  • Tear Jerker: The ending of The Social Experiments. Ranboo was seemingly so close to escaping the control of Showfall Media, but it's all revealed to be part of their plan. Hetch kidnaps Ranboo again and gives the audience a Sadistic Choice: Ranboo can live and be brainwashed to be their puppet of entertainment forever, or he can be killed on the spot. Poor Ranboo can do nothing but cry and plead to be let go, but with the realization of what will happen if he lives, he switches to screaming at the audience to kill him. The audience gives him that mercy.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: The final episode of The Social Experiments has long shots and great cinematography that show off the environment and highlight the isolation and emptiness of the mall the show takes place in. Special mention goes to when Ranboo and Charlie are running away from the Sguiggles' masked people, and the camera fluidly follows them without shaking.
