Broken Base: The recurring debate on whether Dustin's love for fast rapping is a detriment to his rap battles or not. Some feel it makes the lyrics too hard to understand and are turned off from his works by it. Other fans however feel the fast rapping are fine, or even love it as much as Dustin does.

Even outside of the YTP and Freshy's fandom, the image or clip of MrBeast being marked with a red circle in said intro is still popular to post whenever MrBeast is brought up.
Misaimed Fandom: Some people who watched "NF vs. Billie Eilish" don't consider Billie's "Your lyrics are NF: not funny" line to be a diss since NF is an artist with songs about mature theme with grounded lyrics; he's not supposed to be funny. Dustin explained that the joke here is; his rap battles fall under the genre of comedy and thus, lines ARE supposed to be funny. Ergo, NF's musical style is unfit compared to Eilish's.
One-Scene Wonder: While he only had one verse at the end of "Squid Game vs. MrBeast", the Front Man was an extremely memorable rapper with some of the best flows in the series.
Questionable Casting: Some comments under both the compilation and the video proper pointed out Freshy's take on the Spy ends up sounding much lower and more growly than his canon voice.

Spoiled by the Format: This happens whenever the battle seeming end with a minute or two left in the video, which is the case with YouTube vs. Twitch where TikTok shows up.
They Copied It, So It Sucks!: There are quite a few people who merely see this channel as just another ERB rip-off. According to Dustin, this is part of the reason why the announcer was removed (In-Universe he was Reduced to Dust) so that the battles aren't completely like ERB.
They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Morbius vs Dracula's lines regarding the former character focus almost exclusively on memes about the movie's poor critical reception and box office numbers and Jared Leto's controversial behavior, with little said about Morbius as a character and absolutely no references to the other characters or events of the actual film (or, for that matter, the comic book it was based on).
Peter Pan of all characters shows up in Timmy Turner vs Aladdin.
In Ridley vs. King K. Rool, Waluigi shows up as a third party, only to be eaten by a Piranha Plant which starts rapping instead.
Big Mac (the hamburger) showing up in a rap battle, even in-universe.
You'd expect Kirby's opponent to be another Extreme Omnivore hero like Pac-Man or Yoshi. Or perhaps an all-consuming horror like Majin Buu, Galactus, or Unicron. But no, it's The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Visual Effects of Awesome: Paul Atreides vs Amleth looks stunning, with high-effort costumes for both participants, great editing, and some scenes done on location as opposed to the usual greenscreen fare.
Watch It for the Meme: The aforementioned MrBeast meme led to a lot of people watching the original battle, making it the channel's most viewed video. Most of them enjoyed the battle too.
