• Awesome Music: The theme song for the special, Saiko Saikyo Super Stars by NoB. Oozing old-school Sentai hotbloodedness and trumpeting the values Sentai espouses in teamwork and courage in the fight for justice.
• Funny Moments:
  • Just the look on the heroes' faces when they learn their team name is Team Weirdo.
    Yamato: I'm weird?
  • Kagura mispronounced Great Satan as Great Santa. That is all. It gets funnier when you remember in one previous episode she complained when Rita mispronounced Gaisorg's name.
  • Great Satan's upgrade form being defeated mere minutes (or at most mere few hours in-universe) after it is summoned, by just a human-sized finisher, is itself a hilarious moment considering how powerful he is supposed to be.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Only two months earlier, with the release of the Power Rangers graphic novel ''Soul of the Dragon'', it's revealed that Lokar is behind that story's troubles, complete with a full-body shot of him. Here, we have his Sentai counterpart Great Satan ALSO back to menace the heroes, ALSO getting a proper body than just being a floating head. It makes one imagine if the writers of this special read the comic.
  • The shot of all the various Rangers teleporting to Planet Nemesis in the first episode is very reminiscent of all the Rangers teleporting to Earth in Shattered Grid.
• I Knew It!: It wasn't exactly hard for fans to figure out that Rita was evil.
• Unexpected Character:
  • The last team in the tournament is the Support Team, which doesn't have any ranger on it. Instead, it has Arthur G6, Colon, Mag, Peebo, and Dappu.
  • The final foe of the series? Great Satan, who was last seen blown to bits by Ultimate Daizyujin!
  • VRV Master is one of the heroes who gets invited even though he was excluded from all the other crossovers that the Carrangers appeared in.
