• Ensemble Dark Horse: Honey/Candy, and how. She is the most well-known character of the game — heck, she is the only well-known character of this game. Aside from her sex appeal, she was extremely popular among cosplayers in Japan, and even received a (Dummied Out) Expy in Sonic the Fighters which not only grew to be very popular within the Sonic fandom, but enough to be undummied in an Updated Re-release and was also featured in the comics. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly of course) though, she wasn't selected to represent the game in Project × Zone. That honour went to Bahn instead.
• First Installment Wins: The second game's Dreamcast port never made it to the states, and some fans aren't even aware that a sequel exists. The first game on the other hand received a Saturn port and a digital HD re-release.
• Just Here for Godzilla: A lot of Sonic the Hedgehog fans are interested in the series just to see who Honey the Cat is based off of.
