YMMV / Father Tucker

Go To

  • Crosses the Line Twice: When the central premise of the series is about a pedophile priest, this kind of reaction is inevitable. The best example is in "Blessed Are the Meek", when Father Tucker peeks inside a sex abuse therapy ward, causes the children inside to scream and then remarks "They grow up so fast".
  • Moral Event Horizon: Really, molesting millions of children and infants already proved that Tucker was an irredeemable monster, but his raping baby Jesus around Christmas time was enough to get him sent straight to Hell despite him still being alive.
  • Squick: While Father Tucker's antics in general are cause for major squick, "Blessed Are the Meek" is without a doubt the grossest episode of the series, which includes such graphic and sickening scenes as Father Tucker playing with discarded foreskins and drinking from a child's colostomy tube.
  • Tear Jerker: The trauma Tucker’s victims display after he is done with them is not played for laughs.
  • Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: The show’s Invincible Villain Protagonist is an open and unrepentant pedophile who always succeeds at raping children and never faces any consequences for his actions. The fact every episode is nothing but pedophile jokes that get predictable quickly means that the humor is in generally poor taste and doesn’t make the premise more palatable.
