- Bizarro Episode: The first part of Extra Act I. Just... the Extra Act. Jeanne in that part essentially is Nanoha hopped up on drugs, with some My Little Pony influences as well.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Word of God states that Arthur's son, whose existence was somewhat foreshadowed since Chapter 5, was named after the Roman Emperor Lucius Tiberius from the Arthurian Legends as something of a nod to the character. Sometime later around March 2016, Volume 5 of Fragments of Sky Silver is released and the actual Lucius Tiberius himself appears during one of Arthur's flashbacks.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The author themselves felt they repeated canon's mistake of reducing Jeanne to a Satellite Love Interest to Sieg but with Arthur this time, despite their best intentions to avoid doing that to focus on more meaningful character growth for Jeanne. Fixing that is part of their motivation for scrapping the story for the reboot.
- Unexpected Character: Guinevere shows up in Chapters 16 and 17, to help Arthur get over his issues.
