• Unintentional Period Piece: Before the commercial break after Peter loses his memory, there is a cutaway gag referencing how [adult swim] keeps the show's funnier jokes intact in the style of its bumps. The gag itself became a little awkward as of September 2021, as Adult Swim lost the rights to Family Guy.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Peter. While getting amnesia and being unable to remember who you, your friends, or your family are (and then losing them after they fail to bring your memory back) is tragic, Peter doesn't do much to endear himself. He goes on Family Feud for money for a dumb reason (namely to buy a cave in the yard, just so he can tell people not to go in there), and single-handedly screws it up with overwhelming stupidity, then screams at the host and roughly shakes him after he loses, which leads to the host rightfully shoving him away, causing Peter to hit his head (which is why he ended up with amnesia to begin with). Then he cheats on Lois and doesn't seem to care that she's distraught. Even after getting his memory back, he still treats Lois (and the rest of the family) as an afterthought, not even mentioning that he got his memory back to his worried family because he still wanted to enjoy his bachelorhood.
