- Awesome Music: The entire score can count as this. Although when you have someone named Tomohiko Kira (as in the Japanese pronunciation of "killer") composing a horror movie soundtrack, it's to be expected.
- Broken Base: The ending. It's either too stupid to take seriously or too stupid to hate.
- Colbert Bump : This film became more well known to English-speaking audiences after Horror Guru reviewed it on Blood Splattered Cinema
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Many of the kills in this movie involve elaborate, handmade death traps, and this is quite a few decades before the Saw movies were ever made.
