YMMV / El Cazador de la Bruja

Go To

  • Ass Pull: The revival of Ellis and Nadie in the finale is this big time.
  • Awesome Music:
  • Fan Nickname: "Dougie" for Rosenberg, and "Squenchy" for the lizard in episode 3.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • The ending of El Cazador de la Bruja, with Nadie and Ellis on the road again. No, sir, no Mind Screw in this one.
    • In episode 23, Ellis tries to leave Nadie fearing that she's going to end up hurting Nadie by staying with her. Near the end of the episode, Nadie catches up to Ellis and grabs her saying that she won't let go. Nadie then hugs her and a gives a speech where she vows to protect Ellis and not let her face painful events alone. Ellis smiles, tears up, and accepts Nadie's partnership with an enthusiastic "Yes, sir!".
      • Right before that, Ellis buying tacos for L.A and herself.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight‎: While it may be considered a tongue in check nod to a certain moment from its "sister series", Noir, Ellis wielding a pair of forks as weapons, in terms of some American anime fans, also brings to mind the sock puppet Easter Egg parodies that ADV produced for their DVD release of Noir and Madlax.
  • Moe:
    • At times it looks like Ellis' true purpose is to make the viewers squee constantly, judging by numerous close-ups on her face with childishly naive expressions.
    • Lirio even more so - she acts so ingenuous, it's almost implausible.
    • Arguably Nadie at times as well. Especially while she's seen crying aboard the bus.
    • Surprisingly infant L.A. in the floatation tank in his flashback of his only memory in the penultimate episode. Doubled by the fact that that's actually the sanest expression you have ever seen on his face.
