• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Did Ray steal Roy's identity and throned because he blamed his brother for him getting lost years earlier? Or was it because he was raised by the wrong kind of people and became a bad guy as a result, only using the fact that he got lost while playing with Roy as a Dog-Kicking Excuse?
  • The two guards led by Captain Pietro: were they by any sctreches aware of The Coup and that the mysterious Duck in the Iron Mask was the real King of Montedumas? Or were they left in the dark and were Just Following Orders from who they thought was the real Roy? The fact that they're not imprisioned at the end and one of them got scared away by Roy in his iron mask implies the latter, hence they didn't know he was the real king and that they were serving the bad guys.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: During the ballgame, 2 of the boys display the traits that would be made into central parts of their characters in the 2017 reboot — Dewey wanting to stand out from his brothers and Louie being a bit of a Jerkass.
