    Rhaenys: MY CHILD IS COMING, OLD MAN! DO SOMETHING!

  • In Chapter 70, Maegon and Laena sail north incognito to help put down the Northern rebellion and Maegon, being Maegon, nearly comes to blows with the captain of the mercenary fleet they'd hired, requiring Laena to step in.
    Laena: "Can’t you two stay calm for two minutes? It doesn’t matter which one of you two have the biggest dick if I put a sword through it.”
    Maegon's thoughts: It's me.
  • The Lannisters in this story are... interesting. In Chapter 91, Tyrianne Lannister becomes Laena's handmaiden. Her solution to fix Laena's hair is to scream at it. Like a lion.
  • In Chapter 93, Jaelyx refers to Ser Criston Cole as Rhaenyra's personal boy toy.
• Moment of Awesome: Laenara successfully tames the adult Cannibal, a wild dragon quite unlike the tame ones her siblings ride.
