YMMV / Doctor Who S27 E10 "The Doctor Dances"

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Given the sheer versatility of the Sonic Screwdriver displays over the years, is the Doctor really having that much trouble trying to resonate it, or just using it as a convenient excuse to not talk about "dancing" with Rose?
• Harsher in Hindsight: Jack's offhand remark about Pompeii on "Volcano Day" becomes this when the Doctor happened to arrive on said Volcano Day. Made worse by the fact that the Doctor unintentionally made it happen.
• Once Original, Now Overdone: The Everybody Lives moment is arguably less awesome than it used to be, as in subsequent stories having seemingly dead characters miraculously recover became a Steven Moffat staple. "Just this once" in particular rings hollow nowadays.
