Anvilicious: Deceit as a whole is very blunt and direct about its anti-nuclear war message, it's practically plastered all over its cover art.
Nightmare Fuel: The whole album, if the cover wasn't any indication. It was recorded when the Cold War was at its' boiling point, and as such the songs all have a relentlessly grim outlook towards modern society and potential nuclear armageddon, whilst the music for the most part is frantic and discordant. It all culminates in "Hi Baku Shyo", probably one of the darkest closing tracks ever put to record. Charles Hayward himself defined the album as "a dream within a dream".
Tear Jerker: "Cenotaph", a tribute to those who died in battle during the World Wars. The latter half of the song is just heartbreakingly wistful.
"And when the lights go on again All over the world And when the boys come home All over the world Rain and snow will be all that falls From out of the sky"
"Hi Baku Shyo", inspired by the Hiroshima-Nagasaki bombings, can also count as this.
Heartwarming Moments: Cujo and Asia's sons gathering flowers for Zayla peacefully, not roughhousing like usual. They dedicate a white lily for their lost brother.
Nausea Fuel: Haven has so much trouble delivering her child that her uterus is ripped into pieces.
The rogue male jackal attempting to rape Asia, and then abduct Sasha, planning to have pups with her when she's older. It has to be told he was about to rape Asia in front of her sons and that Sasha's only a pup. Pierce kills him off right away.
Riker breaks into Brynn's study, forces her to undress by slightly cutting her neck, and rapes her. Cue the scene in which Anahi finds Brynn on the floor naked, injured, and crying.
Even for a monster like Kenzi, it's horrifying to have your mate, deranged from the Illness, rape you and then rape your daughter, who was only having her first heat, to death in front of you. No wonder she was extremely traumatized by that, staying on her bed for several months.
Tear Jerker: After the birth attempt goes wrong, which results in her pup dying and her uterus being damaged to the point of having to be removed, Haven becomes infertile and will never be able to experience heat nor have pups again, destroying her dreams of becoming a mother.
