YMMV / Daraku Tenshi: The Fallen Angels

• Cult Classic: In the years since it's rushed release, Daraku Tenshi has actually gained a small but dedicated following devoted to digging up all the information possible about it's development and cut content. The game's unique aesthetic and backstories when compared to other fighters of the time (and even later) certainly help.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the game's planned selling points was going to be it's arcade ladder story. Which was planned to be bigger and more plot focused than other fighting games at the time. Nowadays thanks to companies like Arc System Works having a big story mode in a fighter is pretty much the norm.
